Brazilian Vineyards in Bento Gonçalves. The South of Brazil is dominantly populated by European immigrants. Bento Gonçalves is particularly populated with Italian immigrants, in which most of the Wine Businesses are owned by families of Italian ancestry. I visited three major wine companies: Vinicola Salton, Vinicola Miolo, and Vinicola Valduga, as well as Hotel Spa do Vinho Caudalie.
